More and more companies are employing well developed narrative threads in
their games. This transforms the games into much more than just a
shootem-up. Games are becoming an alternate expression of literature

Some of the very first films made were basically science fiction. The
scene of a rocket in the eye of the man in the moon is one of the very
first images to find its way onto celluloid. Science fiction has
maintained its position as an important genre in films to this day.
Contrary to popular believe science fiction has had a profound role in
films long before Star Wars and Star Trek.

If not for Emeril Live, the History Channel, and science fiction I doubt
many of us would bother with broadcast television. Fortunately science
fiction now plays a major role in television. This includes the big three,
the SciFi Channel, and an abundance of satellite stations carrying a major
backlog of science fiction features.

covers, illios, movie production, and more have all relied upon the
creative talents of visual artists. They have brought us glimpses into
foreign realms and future landscapes.
